tTester

tTester is a feature-rich program for testing a person's knowledge, innate ability (aptitude) and specific skills.

  • Computer-aided teaching systems
  • Pre-employment testing, personnel testing and certification.

Features

Security. Password is required to change tTester settings.

Appearance of tTester can be easily adjusted. You can turn off menus or the toolbar and change the visual theme of tTester.

Displayed Information. You can determine what of the following users will see while taking the test: username, the number of questions in the test, current question number, the number of correct answers, time left.

As an option, tTester can produce a sound after the testing is over letting you know that someone has completed the test.

Command line. Various command line parameters can be used to:

  • Create testing shortcuts to minimize the spadework.
  • Create links to tests in various documents that allows to integrate tTester into various e-books etc. For example, this can be used in e-books created with SunRav BookOffice.

Sending results via E-mail. After testing is over, the results can be sent via E-mail. This comes handy in case of remote testing.

Recording tests to CD or DVD. Tests can be recorded to a CD or a DVD if you want users to be able to take tests without installing any special software. Then, to take a test, they just will have to insert the disk and select the test they need.

User registration. User registration can be either enabled or disabled.

Testing process. The following adjustments can be made:

Skipping questions. You can allow users to skip questions and/or return to previous questions.

Users can be prohibited to quit tTester before testing is over.

Desktop and taskbar can be disabled. In this case tTester will work in the full screen mode.

You can make tTester close after a single testing attempt. 

Multilanguage interface. tTester's interface is translated into English, German and French language.

Testing results. Testing results can be saved into a file and/or printed (these capabilities can be disabled) You can adjust the way testing results are presented to users:

  • No results are displayed.
  • The whole test and per-topic testing results are displayed.
  • The list of the hardest topics is displayed. Detailed testing report is displayed including the list of all questions, answers and correctness of given answers.
